Personal Care Attendant I
The PCA I assists with the basic housekeeping and homemaking services to maintain the independence and lifestyle of the client. No personal care is provided. Duties may include: meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, companionship, respite care, shopping, and escorting.
Personal Care Attendant II
The PCA II not only performs the basic housekeeping and homemaking services outlined above, but also non-medical directed personal care. Duties may include assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, walking, dressing, eating, and toileting.
Personal Care Attendant III
The PCA III provides services for clients that are under a medically supervised plan, to assist the client with personal care and to assist the client and his/her family with the household management. Duties may include: all duties listed above plus assistance with ambulation, non-sterile wound care, bed patient care, and support for Hospice.
